Hello Beloved,

I came into this work the way many cultural workers do—through a longing to tend my own wounds and remember myself back to wholeness. What began as a personal journey into restoration has unfolded into a multidimensional practice rooted in healing, embodiment, storytelling, and relationship to land.

I am a somatic practitioner, writer, and podcast host and producer. My work lives at the intersection of the body, the land, and our shared stories—how they shape us, hold us, and offer pathways home. I hold certifications in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy and Somatic Attachment Therapy, and I am also certified in Restorative Yoga. Through therapeutic movement, breath, sound, and body-based inquiry, I support people in unwinding the stories held within the soma and returning to their bodies with greater grace, truth, and fullness.

I approach healing through a body-centered, heart-led lens, informed by my lived experience inhabiting a femme body of culture, my background in doula birthwork, and my studies of conscious love and relational repair. While my formal training has deeply shaped my work, my greatest teacher has been the wisdom earned through my own healing journey—listening closely to the body, honoring its rhythms, and trusting its intelligence.

As a writer, I am devoted to language as a vessel for remembrance, liberation, and connection. My writing explores embodiment, healing, ancestry, land, and the subtle terrain of becoming, offering reflections that invite readers into deeper intimacy with themselves and the world around them.

I am also the host and producer of Sovereign: Reclaiming Black Land, a podcast rooted in storytelling, history, and ritual. With Black land at the center, the series explores what it means to be sovereign through conversations that bring together prominent activists, artists, and culture weavers alongside the rising generation of Black land stewards. Together, we honor the past while crafting living blueprints for liberated futures.

Within the containers I create—whether through somatic work, writing, or audio storytelling—I prioritize nourishment, tenderness, and truth. These are spaces where we make deep contact with what we are holding, both the resonance and the dissonance, learning to befriend the body from the seat of the compassionate witness. My work is an invitation to remember ourselves as embodied, connected, and in right relationship with the land and with one another.

My Approach

Our bodies carry a wisdom that holds everything we need for self-healing. We access this benevolent knowing by bringing loving awareness to our thoughts, our patterns, and the living rhythms within us—breath, pulse, sensation, and movement. When we slow down enough to notice what stirs within the container of our experience, we can begin to honor what we’re holding, meeting it with care, softening the pace, and allowing it to become more workable.

As we learn to revere our capacity for both resonance and dissonance, the body becomes a shelter that can hold it all. Safety grows from within, creating space for expansion and deeper access to breath. We remember our way back home to our essential nature, finding what feels most settled and resting there—if we choose to. Because in this work, choosing is more important than doing.
