Sparkling Contently

I’ve been thinking about love.

Watching the monstera in my living room window sparkling contently in the sunlight.

Quietly and devotedly. Bending her body to follow the light that pours in and all around her. Wherever it takes her. Shape shifting and contorting. She follows the glow as it moves across the sky.

So when darkness comes, she’s still full of light and she survives until morning.

I want to know what shapes I’ll take when I follow love like that. When I devote my life to it.
